WHO WE ARE
Established in 1872 as an arboretum for botanical research, Hoopes Park is the largest park in the borough of West Chester covering 16.2 acres. It provides facilities for tennis, baseball, a playground, picnic areas, flex use space for frisbee, badminton, volleyball and more. The park supports other activities such as walking areas and paths as well as children’s summer programs and is a wonderful resource for families.
OUR GOALS
Our goal is to improve Hoopes Park by:

Restoration of existing facilities

Adding new facilities that are consistent with the present & future use of the park

Build local support and pride for this wonderful treasure
